Annamrita, ISKCON’s public-private partnership with the Government of India’s Midday Meal Scheme, serves 1.2 million meals to school children through its 20 kitchens across India every day. By providing children a nutritious meal prepared with compassion and love, parents are encouraged to send their children to school, and children receive the nourishment needed to succeed.
Annamrita operates in eight states of India:
Maharashtra, Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal and Jharkhand.
